Morning CLE, have you had a nice short week? So far so good here. Have you had a chance to enter the not one, but TWO giveaways this week? If not take a look at the last few posts and enter to win a $100 gift certificate to Provenance and/or a season pass to Yoga in the Park!
Also, I just heard from the gang over at the Cleveland Museum of Art and I can barely contain my excitement by telling you there are ONLY 250 tickets left for the almost sold out Summer Solstice PARTY! So, if you have any inkling to attend the party of the summer, get our tickets TODAY!
For those of us who already bought our tickets, the next big decisions is WHAT TO WEAR? In the past few years I’ve noticed a great blend of attendees in very formal dresses to the younger crowd in cooler summer casual wear. Myself I love a good maxi dress, something that I can wear summer flats with…I don’t want my heals to get suck in the grass while dancing the night away.A few things to think about when picking out what to wear to Solstice are some of the fun and fresh summer trends. From the adorable peplum shirts and coordinating skirts, to anything bold and floral patterned, the more ruffles the better and to accessorize, add a big chunky necklace or bangles made from wood or jewel-toned glass jewels. Like I said, while I usually would choose a high heal for a party like this, because the evening is on the lawn of the museum you’ll be happy in flats, (that’s not to say you can’t do a good animal print, sequin or summer woven in a practical flat.)
I was so inspired on the “What to Wear?” that I made a pinterest board to keep all my Summer Solstice summer fashion ideas in one place…I will probablly buy a few things and see what I feel like that night. Do you ever do that? Feel free to follow my board at charity216 : Summer (Solstice) Fashions I’d be curious to get your opinions on my picks! Keep it stylish Cleveland! This post was sponsored by Spiegel
