Sushi @ Kumo

Hello CLE, how the heck have you been? Myself, I have been enjoying summer to it’s fullest. Spending time outdoors, dining alfresco, family grill outs and sunshine, lots of sunshine.

This weekend I was invited to experience Northeast Ohio’s most out-of-this-world Japanese Seafood Buffet located minutes from Cleveland in Parma. Yes, that’s right Parma, Ohio is home to Kumo and I wouldn’t be telling you about this place unless I totally thought it was worth the visit…and it SO is!

For $15 per adult you can dine on their all you can eat sushi bar, along with the other rows and rows of Chinese American and Japanese foods. They have a hibachi station and this morning they were also whipping up sweet and savory crepes. I experienced coconut jello, along with plates of delightful sushi creations. I ate my first frog leg with a side of seaweed salad. A little plate of veggie lomein and a few crab ragoons and I was plensantlly full.

While I didn’t get to try any of the desserts (they were so pretty) the kids at our table reported back that the self serve ice cream sundae bar was very good, sprinkles and all.

Seriously, I’m not joking when I say that you should go check it out. Next time if you are in the mood for sushi give it a shot. I’m still sorta dreaming about it, it was that good!
