Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a “sweet” weekend. Isn’t that image of dessert lovely looking? I like how Chef Michael Symon thinks….this is his version of an ice cream sandwich served up at Lola’s on East Fourth.
The pistachio ice cream is sandwiched between raspberry macarons, drizzled with raspberry-rosewater sauce and topped with fresh berries, pistachios and a gold fleck or two! Edible GOLD? Wonder how that would look on my mundane lunch salad, probally would make it taste much better…I digress.
Anyhow, I just wanted to remind you that while Lola’s might be one of the CLE’s more fancy establishments, they have an incredible glowing bar (literally it glows from underneath) and a dessert menu to make your every sweet tooth ache. One of these fleeting summer nights grab a friend and go settle in at the bar for that perfect mix of cocktail and sweet delights…just chalk it up for a really good treat.
