Local reads

Happy Monday everybody. Hope you are ready for a productive week in the CLE! It’s gonna be a real chilly one considering we had temps soaring past 60′s over the weekend. Crazy!

Did you get outside? Open the windows to let the fresh air flood your living room? Did you have  cookout? Me? I attempted to clean out the garage, to run around town without a coat on and enjoyed a few cocktails to celebrate the high January temps.

This morning’s chilly welcome reminded me that it IS January and we should be excited to bust out our pretty coats and warm hats, ear muffs and more! Welcome back 30 degrees, now if you could just bring on the powder, this girl has got some skiing to get too.

This weekend I was at a local bookstore when I noted this little section of books written about or by CLE locals. From Michael Symon’s Carnivore, to Rust Belt Chic written by Richey Pilpafinen & Anne Trubeck to Laura Taxel & Marilou Suszko’s Cleveland West Side Market; 100 Years & Still Cooking…our region has a lot of fabulous  reading out there.

So if you had a goal to read more or to support local, buying any of these books would count for both. get out and get a copy of one of them yourself today! Happy reading Cleveland!
