It was a nice winter day when I was introduced to the lovely Lemon Falls eatery nestled in downtown Chagrin Falls. The pleasant white interiors, the sweets displayed on gleaming glass pedestals, the chalk board proclaiming the daily specials…all details were well executed and I haven’t even mentioned anything we ate.

For lunch I had a cup of their black bean soup and the white bean tuna nicoise salad. It was both light and relatively healthy but very filling and delicious. I especially liked the added touch of the white beans in the tossed salad and am thinking I will try that at home some day! The soup was very satisfying and almost had a deep chianti aftertaste, which I personally loved.

The staff was kind bringing our lunch out to our little table, supplying us with an unlimited carafe of water and providing us a to-go box when we couldn’t finish the entire salad. While we didn’t indulge in the sweets (darn resolutions!) they looked wonderful, like the perfect place to grab a dozen of this and that to bring to your best friends Sunday brunch…that good.

Next time you feel like a little hop in the car to a very pretty little grab and go lunch spot, I would advise checking out the adorable, Lemon Falls for a great treat, promise you won’t be disappointed.
