My friends call me “a social butterfly” but I like to think of myself as a “social archeologist,” pealing away the layers of this fantastic city to unearth the beauty, the fun and the possibilities in the city of Cleveland.

It all started a few years back when many of my closest friends began to have babies and work from home. In order to keep them connected and engaged with the social scene I would put together a weekly email that had my thoughts on the new restaurants, the upcoming galas, what interesting people I had met, etc. From what I heard this email was being forwarded from one mommy group to another and my ideas were being scattered around the city. I thought, why not make a place where other like-minded people could comment and advise me of what’s happening and so was born “I heart cleveland.”

My name is Charity and when I’m not blogging I’m a graphic designer and proud small business owner. In my spare time I teach spinning, hang with Sir Franklin (my adorable pugface), spend the weekends relaxing at the beach and riding my bike around town.
