Happy Monday everybody! Hope your weekends were great, don’t they fly by a bit too fast?
I’ve been meaning to share some pics of our little Baby Ninja’s nursery so here we go. It isn’t a big room but perfect for snuggles, reading books, lego building and lots of smiles. It’s a blend of my obsession of vintage globes, local artwork and a touch of modern baby style.
We tried to keep the furnishings pretty simple in order for the little guy to grow with them; nothing too frilly or overly baby. His clean-lined, gray crib is from Target, while most of the other furnishings are from IKEA and Land of Nod.
We filled his room with books, lots of books. Books from our own personal childhood collections and many children’s classics. We used a little dresser for his changing table and packed it with onesies, wipes and shoes…lots of baby shoes!
Our most treasured item in the nursery is this amazing glider/rocker from Land of Nod. As much as I resisted the idea of a big comfy chair, it comes in handy EVERY night at around 2 am and then again at 4am. If you are ever considering not buying a glider, I’m telling you it’s a MUST. The furry rug, the light up globe, the teal circles and cloud garland as well as many baskets and bins are also from Land of Nod. They have great stuff not only for babies but for adults too…check out their rugs, sheets and lamps!
So just a little peak into our new bundle of joy’s room. We are really lucky to have such a cozy space to enjoy this new baby and all that goes along with him. Have a great week everyone I hope you enjoyed this little peak into our world.
