Morning CLE! How is everybody doing today post Tribe Opening Day antics? We were so lucky to have such great weather. While I still wore a few layers just in case, there were many rocking the tank top and “jorts” (jean shorts!) look at the stadium…it’s still April people, I’m just sayin.
Anyhow. It’s been a few wild and crazy weeks over here. Slammin jammin at work, lots of company in town, the Film Fest (get your tickets for this weekend it’s gonna be crazy packed!) planning a home remodel and a vacation…bring it on!
Have you heard about the Cleveland flea? Well from what I know it’s a great place to score some sweet vintage finds on the second Saturday of each month. Lots of great vendors coming together in the St Clair Superior neighborhood looking to offer you a special find for your home or that unique spring accessory. There are artisan food vendors, people who make stuff and a great vibe for our city. It’s happening THIS SATURDAY morning and you should for sure check it out. For details check out their facebook page!
So enjoy the rest of this weeks nice weather. Happy spring Cleveland, happy finds at the FLEA!
Hello CLE. Isn’t this sunshine divine? It truly just makes me so happy. Also, side note…just looked at Monday’s weather and for Opening Day…50, overcast but NO RAIN! Get psyched!
Okay, today I wanted to share a little video that was developed by our friends at the Cleveland Clinic. It was initially an internal piece for employees and such, but I think it speaks VOLUME to how we as humans and as citizens of the CLE should behave. It’s a bit over 4 minutes in length and has “subtitles” so you have to actually read the video, but it is moving and I hope you like it.
If you do, pass it along to your friends who might also need a bit of a reminder that we are all individuals with different things going on…and we all live here on this earth together.
Great job Clinic marketing and communications team, it truly is a wonderful piece!
WOW, where did all this snow come from? Don’t get me wrong, I love it, but from what I heard the roads were a real bummer for some of our commuters.
Anyhow, back to business…it’s and ART weekend in CLEVELAND and I couldn’t be more jazzed to get out and explore.
First up is tonight’s opening of the new Transformer Station located in Ohio City (next to the Cleveland Vibrator Company…tee hee.) The Transformer Station is a project presented by the Bidwell Foundation in association with the Cleveland Museum of Art bringing contemporary art from around the world to the west side of Cleveland.
Hey CLE…did everyone run out and raid their garage for a shiny tomato cage last night? I’m glad so many of you liked the simple idea of how to add a touch of holiday flair to any room.
Picking up on the holiday craft ideas, today we are going to make illuminated artwork for any space in your pad.
If you’re just not in the mood for the traditional stockings hanging on your mantel this year, then these illuminated paintings might just fit the bill. It’s an easy project to complete with just a few simple steps. MORE! →
Happy Monday CLE. While I have been hopping around the big apple, I realize there have been lots of fun and exciting things happening here in our great city. Well, now I am back and more excited and enthused than ever, ready to share with you little tid bits from my travels.
However, since I have some work to get done…I thought I would share this truly stunning example of video work by my friend Jeff Downie and the products of the ever sassy CLE Clothing Co.
Great job you guys! it makes me want to play hookie and take a road trip this afternoon!
