Happy Friday Craft Day CLE! Do you have lots of fun sweetheart plans for the weekend? Hanging with your best gal pals or enjoying a nice dinner out with someone special? I think a lot of people are celebrating the Valentines Day holiday this weekend…why not kick off happy hearts day this weekend and celebrate the entire week…sorta like we do for Christmas.
Remember when you were little and you would make Valentines for your classmates? We would drop our creations into little classroom mailboxes each individually decorated by the entire class. I love to give little notes and cards to my friends and loved ones for Valentines…I thought maybe you’d like to make some too.
Happy Friday all you CLE crafters! Today I bring you my last and final holiday decor idea. Nothing too fancy or especially new, but it’s just a way to tell that special someone you care. A holiday countdown garland made especially for your loved one. It’s easy with a few simple steps.
Hey CLE…did everyone run out and raid their garage for a shiny tomato cage last night? I’m glad so many of you liked the simple idea of how to add a touch of holiday flair to any room.
Picking up on the holiday craft ideas, today we are going to make illuminated artwork for any space in your pad.
If you’re just not in the mood for the traditional stockings hanging on your mantel this year, then these illuminated paintings might just fit the bill. It’s an easy project to complete with just a few simple steps.

While over the holidays I caught the “must buy yarn bug.” No, I don’t knit or crochet (I can’t take on ANY new hobbies as of late) but I saw this very fun braided scarf at one of the holiday bazaar’s and thought…I can make that!
As I was searching for the perfect yarn for my upcoming project I came across this wonderful shop on Etsy…come to find out the yarn is inspired by the sellers travels outside of Cleveland but the actual yarn spinning and dying process happens right here in Northeast Ohio!
