What “I heart” wants for Christmas.

Hello Cleveland….and THANKS for such amazing responses to the past few days giveaways. We are half way through and I thought I would take a break today and instead let you know what’s on my wish list, as well as find out what’s on yours?

What are YOU asking for this holiday? Take a look at six of my “wish list” items. Fingers crossed that Santas little elves have reported I’ve been VERY good to the big bearded boss-man, Santa.

1 / Being that I HEART cleveland, I love the iconic little heart as a graphic accessory. Take a look at these heart hair and shoe clips from Ban.do, I sorta MUST have them.

2 / I’ve been searching and searching for an Ohio necklace and the patina on this one by Brooke Arin is just so perfect! Although, I’d like mine to be customized with a “C” for Cleveland, it’s the perfect addition to any 2011 outfit.

3 / Over the past few years I have been eyeing the work of CIA students as they explore type and how visually it can be transformed into imagery, Type City Cleveland. This year I am really digging the image of Lolly the Trolley, but my favorite is a design done in 2007 of the West Side Market, lots of great 2010 memories made there.

4 / I keep meaning to order a case of these exquisite bottles of vino from Napa wine company Jaqk Cellars for my little wine “cellar.” Yes, the packaging is pretty, but I’m sure the wine inside must taste just as good. I love their holiday tag line…”give delicious.”

5 / A girl can dream can’t she? I mean if this Eames lounger and matching ottoman was on a tree lawn in Shaker Heights or tucked away in some antique store on Lorain Ave or even better stored in your grandma’s basement in Parma, you would tell me…wouldn’t you? As someone with a passion for interior style and design history, I’d LOVE one of the famous loungers for the holidays, just dreaming! :)

6 / Not that I need a new tote bag, I mean Unique Thrift keeps my closet filled with many one of a kind goodies….BUT…this bag from One Sydney Road would be so perfect for Saturday morning market excursions. I adore how they end the meal with chocolate, sounds like my kind of dinner soiree.

Happy holidays Cleveland. I hope all your gift list wishes come true!

  Happy (Mickey) Monday!

Hello Cleveland & welcome Fall,
You might all think I’ve been doing a slacking job at reporting what’s happening in our land of the CLEV, or maybe it’s my own personal blog guilt, but I promise October will be better.

You see for the month of September I was writing for Chevrolet’s “Gotta Love Chevy” test drive a traverse promotional program (see my posts here!) and I gotta admit… I couldn’t keep up. Work got busy, the weekends were slammed and something had to take a bit of a back seat… MORE! →

  Whee!

“WHEE! We’re on Euclid Avenue Cleveland, Ohio”
Isn’t this the cutest little piece of memorabilia you’ve ever seen? It makes me smile.
Happy summer yard sales Cleveland, get out there…there are some finds to be found.
