Dinner at Damascino’s

Hey Cleveland. Happy (belated) St Patricks Day to you and yours. No matter how much, or how little Irish you are made of, I hope were able to get a bit of green beer and corned beef.

The other night we had the opportunity to celebrate a friends birthday at a Lebanese restaurant in Kamm’s Corner called Damascino’s. We were the first family to arrive at the party but the table had already been set for a celebration feast. There was hummus, pita, kabobs, shwarma, a tangy yellow rice dish topped with hunks of  lamb and my favorite, fatoush salad. There were seven adults and few children and we had so much food leftover…it truly was a feast.

Damascino’s might just look like a standard middle eastern grocery store but don’t overlook  the restaurant nestled in the back of the store. It is both delicious and super authentic. Plus, I gotta say…their hummus is pretty darn amazing.
