Hello Cleveland and happy week-before-Memorial-Day-Weekend! So many fun things happening around town as the temps warm up and summer starts to warm our city..I love summer in Cleveland.
Today I want to share with you this amazing video that the Cleveland Museum of Art has produced to use in celebrating their 100 year birthday. The video actually gave me cold chills and then a tear or two…I gotta say I am one proud museum member, the video tells an amazing story.
So many wonderful summer events centered around the birthday celebration that I thought I would take the time to highlight a few coming up…
Tuesday, June 7th : The official Birthday Bash, free (even the Pharaoh exhibit) and open to the public. Join them for birthday cake, live music and a red carpet entrance.
Saturday, June 11th : Parade the Circle. For over 26 years the museum has been celebrating arts, family and community by hosting this parade. Join the museum and the many volunteers and community organizations as they share their creative costumes, floats, dance routines and creative magic. We can’t wait to go this year with our little guy, he is going to love all the excitement, creativity and music.
Saturday, June 25th : Summer Solstice! While the official party might be sold out, the Museum will be offering many other events during the weekend that you won’t want to miss. From other opportunities to enjoy live music to cool new exhibits, to a performance by our own Cleveland Orchestra…mark your calendars this weekend is going to be very special.
To see what else is happening at the Museum as they celebrate their big 100 visit them at cma.org! Looking forward to seeing you guys at the Museum. Cheers!
