Happy National Toasted Marshmallow Day to all you smores lovers out there! I mean…who doesn’t love roasting a sweet, puffy, sugar explosion over an end-of-summer campfire?
This summer we’ve had a few backyard evening fires in our outdoor firepit. Our little guy legit thinks we are camping just steps away from our home…it’s quite cute.
In honor of this food celebration, I thought it would be fun to toast up some marshmallows for an after-dinner family treat. While I would like to be able to make time for “camp fires” every night, I thought this pan I found at Wayfair would be perfect for a weeknight smores-making celebration.
We assembled graham crackers, chocolate squares, and the classic puffy marshmallow pouf…placed them in this new pan invention…set them into the oven on bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees and voilla! In-home smores party all around. Happy National Toasted Marshmallow Day everyone and even better happy long, Labor Day weekend to you!
