Beach wood Evite_V2

Hey friends! Happy Tuesday to ya. This week has been flying by, don’t you think? I feel like all of our work clients have returned from summer break and we are all ready to get down to business for the final push of 2014. Work is well, baby is still sweet as pie and things are good.

Today just a little reminder about an event I am co-hosting with Kate Spade at Beachwood Mall this upcoming Saturday evening. Come and shop, sip some bubbles, try on many pairs of sparkly shoes, layer yourselves with baubles upon baubles…it’s going to be such a fun event. Reserve your spot for the fun at beachwoodplace@katespade.com, invite your friends, the more girly love the better.

Looking forward to seeing you there. Cheers! -me

Kate Spade party & Fashion Forward, Giving Back

Hello everyone. I hope you had a wonderful few days off and are ready to enter the fall season rested and relaxed. Our holiday weekend kicked off with a summer barbecue on Friday night hosted by yours truly and family. This was our first time entertaining with a baby and I think we did a fantastic job if I may say so myself. To be honest, it was very therapeutic…planning the menu, shopping, doing all the prep and then enjoying the evening as our friends enjoyed themselves at our home. It was wonderful to know that yes, we could have a babes and still be ourselves. Granted, we were beat the next day but all the cleaning and leftovers were totally worth every minute of the night before. Cheers to parties with friends who don’t mind if a baby is in the mix. Thanks guys!

Now, onto what’s really important…So there is this store that I write about, drool about and fuss over from time to time…Kate Spade, heard of it? Yes of course you have.

The Kate Spade store in Beachwood Mall and I are hosting a very fun evening of shopping, special offers, a purse giveaway and lots of other glittery fun on Saturday, September 13th. This event is part of the benefit that Beachwood Place Mall is hosting in conjunction with the Cleveland Clinic’s Children’s Hostpital called “Fashion Forward, Giving Back.”

Enjoy an entire day and night of fashion as you support a nationally recognized children’s hospital. Purchase a $25 shopping pass and you’ll have access to event discounts, a fashion show, sample makeovers, children’s activities and other fun surprises. The fundraiser runs all day from 10am-9pm but the Kate Spade party is from 6-8pm, don’t miss out.

September kicks off Ms. Spade’s latest collection, the “Shanghai Collection.” Filled with fall prints and sparkly stiletto’s this new line will set your fall wardrobe off in style. Did I even mention the create your own glitter fortune cookies and purse giveaway? There will be snacks and bubbles, fashion and glitter…lots of glitter. You have got to put this event in your calendars, I’d love to see everyone and meet some of you, I promise it to be a great time!

  Compassion for Fashion ticket giveaway!

Happy Wednesday everyone. Hows your week going? Love the sunshine today.

Are you starting to get the pretty holiday catalogs, direct mail pieces, coupon codes and shopping incentives in your inboxes and mailboxes? I swear…so many great shopping opportunities this time of year. It’s so dangerous for me not to only want to shop for myself. Ever feel that way? One for them, one for me kinda thinking?

Anyhow today I have the opportunity for you and a friend to win an evening out at Beachwood Place to support your choice of either The Gathering Place or University Hospitals (UH) Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital at the 5th annual Compassion for Fashion on Saturday, November 23rd, 2013.
