  Weekend fun!

Screen Shot 2015-02-18 at 10.40.21 PM

So many incredibly fun things happening around town this weekend but don’t forget to bundle up and fight these insanely cold temps.

Brite Winter – An amazing winter music festival (if you make sure to wear layers upon layers) happening on and around West 25th/Market District. Music kicks off round 4pm and runs through the late night. Plan to get cozy with your fellow festival goers, the bars and restaurants are always packed during the winter celebration. Enjoy & remember to dress warm, it’s gonna be a cold one out there.

Then there is ICEFEST down at the North Coast Harbor – A celebration of the art of ice. With ice sculptures, carving contests and the not-to-be-missed fire and ice tower it’s gonna be an amazing show; something to be seen for sure.

Whatever you decide to do this weekend, dress warm, wear layers and give your friends lots of hugs to stay warm. Happy winter Cleveland!

  Friday Fun

Hey friends, happy TGIF to you! Check out the ad (above) that came though my inbox this week…aren’t those painted edge business cards super cute? Ha! I was thrilled to see my friends down at Jakprints include my blog business cards as part of their weekly marketing campaign. They do such a great job at small orders as well as large national print needs, I highly recommend them for anything you might need down the road. Thanks guys!

Today marks the return of Friday Fun. I received so much great feedback about the weekly listing about things happening around town I couldn’t resist but to bring it back. I have to admit, not drinking as much due to the little bambino has kept me a bit out of the total social scene…but there is light at the end of the tunnel and I can’t wait to get back to those dirty martini’s with all of you…two blue cheese olives please.

Check out some fun things happening around our city this weekend…bundle up, it’s gonna get cold again…brrr.

Join creatives minds at this years third annual festival hosted by Market Garden Brewery this Saturday and Sunday. This year the organizers are super excited to screen local congressman Matt Zone’s film, Project 5: When I hear Music which features Matt Zone himself…and his 1980’s dance troupe! Ice Carving Festival : Sunday the 23rd marks the 3rd annual Ice Carving Festival at Market Garden Brewery. Come see the talents of the University of Akron Carving Club as they work their slabs of ice while you are enjoying your own “cold one.” Festivities begin at noon in the beer garden.

Just a few things to keep you busy in the 216 this weekend! Have a great weekend everybody, see you Monday. :)

Hiya CLE! What a weekend it was here in the 216. Not so much for our football game, however I did get to the Munny Lot for a bit of bubbly and breakfast spirit.

To my CLE friends who ran the Chicago Marathon yesterday including Katy, Jenny and Alex and to my friend Danielle who tackled her first half in Fairport Harbor…all of you are AMAZING! BIG Congrats! I’m Proud of you CLE ladies.

I know many of you may have already seen this great video that the Downtown Cleveland Alliance put together for promoting living in downtown, but I just had to share it again. Not only do I see many of friends as leading ladies and gents, I am thrilled to see the star of the show all shining and looking here best…Miss Cleveland YOU LOOK FINE.

So take a watch at the film, I hope you heart it as much as I did!
