  2016 & holiday giveaway winners!

(New stickers for a new year…SO FUN!)

Happy Monday everyone. How was your weekend? Honestly, I can’t believe it’s mid January already. These last few days have been filled with purging from last year and planning for a year ahead. We’ve been starting to make vacation plans for the year ahead (gotta love having things to look forward too!) We’ve been immersing ourselves in magazines and Pinterest getting inspired with regards to planning for our kitchen remodel. I’ve been trying to stay the course eating well and working out a bunch. So far this year is really shaping up nicely. Isn’t it awesome that at anytime (and especially the beginning to a new year) we can reset and make new goals? Love it!

When it comes to goals I always like to make three lists. I’m a compulsive list maker in general but these January lists are super important in keeping me on track for the entire year. I revisit the lists, rework them, and concede when something needs to adjust to the master. My three lists are Home, Life and Work.

The home list typically involves any home improvements I want to see to our space. Typically this includes painting this or that, remodeling or redesigning a room or maybe it’s as simple as buying a new comforter or towels.

The life list is usually the longest – filled with personal wellness goals, travel goals, and even goals about new hobbies or interests I may have.

Then work goals are just that, since I own our design studio this list is important to making a successful work year. I have lots of input on this list of goals from my staff and we try our best to revisit it thought the year in order to ensure we finish the year with a solid, most creative year behind us.

While it might sound like a lot, my three lists are what make me happy. As a creative person it is very easy for me to get distracted and want to change direction at any given moment, knowing I have mapped out a year filled with goals keeps me engaged and on track.

How about you guys. Have you made your lists filled with goals for the new year? I’d love to be inspired by some of your goals, do share!

Day 5 giveaway : Market Garden Brewery goodies!

Happy Friday and happy Day 5 of this years 12 Days of giveaways!!! It’s been such an exciting week over here, I can’t thank the donors, small businesses and non profits and many organizations and businesses that have all pitched in to offer these exciting giveaways here at iheartcleveland.

4- Beer Bar Guests

Today I have a great one for you from our friends at Market Garden Brewing, I know you are gonna love it. The winner of todays giveaway will win one of the MGB hoodie sweatshirts…in your size, as well as a $50 gift card to the brewpub! Only stipulation is that the winner must bring me as their guest…just kidding. But if you wanted too I especially like the soft pretzels and beer cocktails, just as an FYI.

2016 will be an exciting year for Market Garden Brewery as they will begin working with a distributor on the distribution of their beer and will be opening their new production brewery this Spring. Their new facility will include brew tours, a tasting room and a 1500 Sq. foot retail shop where Market Garden’s city pride and passion for craft brewing will shine through in their expansive and exciting product offerings, perhaps most important of which includes all of their tasty beers!

Pouring Taps

I am very excited because I am going to be doing a brew day this spring where I will be helping the brewmasters mix up a batch of two of beer for the brewery. Watch out Cleveland beer lovers, here I come.

To enter to win todays amazing MGB gift pack of one sweatshirt and a $50 gift card, tweet “@iheartclev I’d love to win the @marketgardencle gift pack! My favorite beer is_________.” Good luck everyone, happy beer friday to you. Cheers!

I was invited to giveaway a Market Garden gift pack as part of their social engagements efforts. Thanks for supporting this growing business in the CLE that allows me to create special content like this for iheartcleveland!

  GO CAVS!!!

Rest easy, Cavs fans! The wait from Tuesday is over and we can finally go back to cheering on LeBron and the gang. The city of CLE is flooded with wine and gold and everyone is #ALLin for game 4. If you weren’t a Cavs fan before, the time is right to join in on all the hype!

If your’e looking for the perfect place to watch the game, there are some great go-to hotspots waiting for fans. You can check out Market Garden Brewery located on West 25th, along with Town Hall and Nano Brew on the strip. If you want to catch a glimpse of some newscast celebs, grab a drink on East 4th and you won’t miss a beat. Looking to enjoy this nice summer night? Join in on the watch party at Crocker Park or take a seat on the patio at Hoopples.

Of course as a fellow fashionista you must have the perfect Cavs gear. All of your CLE fashion can be found at places like Cleveland Clothing Company, GV Art and Fresh Brewed Tees.  Although we may not have Kevin Love or Kyrie Irving, we breathe a sigh of relief that Mathew Dellavedova (aka Delly) is re-hydrated and ready to take charge in tonights matchup. After the Cavs got the win in game 3, their chances of winning the series have increased to 84%….but we know it’s 100% for the win!!!
