  Friday Fun!

It’s FRIDAY!!!! and I am exhausted! All of this amazing Cleveland sports have kept me up way past my bedtime, this weekend couldn’t come at a better time.
As always, so many great activities around town. Personally, I need to spend some time organizing the transition between flip flops and sandals to booties and patent leather pumps in my closet. I want to hit up Petitti’s for some mums to plant around home. I’m gonna get a clambake on with some friends on Saturday. I’m hoping to take in a yoga class to stretch out from the week….and then the rest of the weekend is a blank canvas, LOVE those. If you are looking for things to get into…I have a great list this weekend, so get out and do stuff Cleveland!
West Clinton Historic Walks : Tonight kicks off the weekend of haunting down on West Clinton Street. Roam from home to home learning about the spooks and ghosts that frequent the ‘hood. Local residents are the actors & actresses that play the parts, be kind and  quiet as they tell their tales! Kicks off tonight around 6, and the last tour will depart around 9:30! The darker the better…get your spook on yo!
Prosperity Supper Clubs : On of my favorite Tremont bars is bringing back the original “Supper Club” with white pressed tablecloths, a fancy menu and music during the dinner hour. Grab your favorite date and grab a table at Prosperity tonight!
– MIX: Muse: Another amazing collaboration at the Art Museum with  the Cleveland chapter of PechaKucha. It’s also their first birthday (that’s twelve MIX events they have under their belt) and PechaKucha’s 20th event! It’s gonna be a wild event. Looking forward to seeing you there.
Valeri Steele : Fashion, Sex & Power : Yep, this is also happening in University Circle this evening. Cocktails and a fashion talk, I mean this sounds like pure delight! To see if there are last minute tickets available visit wrhs.org
Rock & Roll Marathon WATCH PARTY : I think a few of you may know this, and I’m sure there will be more to come, but I am super thrilled to be part of the new team of spin instructors at the soon-to-open Harness Cycle on the corner of West 29th and Detroit Ave; in Hingetown. Join us Sunday morning around 8am as we cheer on the runners at a watch party outside the new Harness Cycle studio. On hand Beet Jar will be selling fresh juice, Rising Star Coffee will be brewing good java, The Cleveland Bagel Company will have their homemade (carb-loading) bagels for sale, and for the sweet-lovers Brewnuts will be bringing homemade pumpkin doughnuts. Plan to jump around and do lots of cheering to burn off all these local treats! Invite your friends, it’s a great place to watch runners at about mile 3.5!
– Lastly, not for this weekend, but if you are already planning your calendar for next week, check out a reading & book signing with Britt Reints, author of An Amateur’s Guide to the Pursuit of Happiness. Wednesday, October 9 7:30 pm Cuyahoga County Public Library – Solon Branch; 34125 Portz Parkway, Solon. I hear the book is enlightening and Britt is a real doll.
So that’s it everyone. Enjoy another fall weekend of living in the CLE! Gotta heart fall for sure!

Happy Monday to you. How was your weekend in the 216? All good here, more home improvements, got my run on, Browns game in the sunshine, dining out and time at work…all makes me a very happy camper.

While I normally don’t share much about my work life, last week was such a wonderful example of how friends outside of work came together to celebrate summer, small business ownership, local artists and a sweet donut maker. I had to give them a shout out!

Thanks to some of my lovely social friends for supporting our graphic design business; Chartreuse Inc. and it’s 4th Annual Art in the Parc client (& friend) appreciation evening here at the studio. It was a wonderful event, filled with shopping, networking, cocktailing and yes…plenty of mini doughnuts!

I feel very lucky to have a wonderful group of supportive friends in this CLE-community that I couldn’t even imagine what life would be like in any other city. I love this city, I love being a small business owner and I am so appreciate of all of the wonderful friends I have; Thanks guys!

Have a great week everybody. Looks like it’s gonna be a hot one. What to wear? Summer clothes? Fall clothes? I can’t figure it out…
