Screen Shot 2017-04-10 at 11.10.17 PMHey Cleveland. How is everyone doing after such a gorgeous Monday? It was great to come home from work, go for a little run and not only have it light outdoors but to have it so warm. Spring is finally here in the 216!

Is everyone ready for a long Easter weekend with family, friends and lots of jelly beans? It looks like this nice weather will continue and it should be the perfect weekend for all your egg hunts…so looking forward to hiding a few treats around the new yard! Must get to Malley’s this week for some special chocolate bunnies to hide.

I’ve been meaning to tell you all about a fundraiser that is coming up that I think you might be interested in, check it out. On Saturday, May 6th the St. Vincent de Paul Society Cleveland is hosting their 17th Annual Kentucky Derby Party – to benefit its multiple hunger centers. St. Vincent de Paul Society, a small nonprofit that has been providing face-to-face emergency help (with rent & utility bills, food, clothing, school supplies, blankets for the homeless and more) to Northeast Ohioans in need since 1865. Last year, SVDP helped more than 250,000 individuals and families in need.

Presented by Community West Foundation, the fundraiser will be held from 4 to 8PM at Cleveland’s own Great Lakes Brewing Company and will feature the “Run for the Roses” on the large screen, horse betting, a hat contest, silent auction, authentic Derby fare, valet parking, mint juleps and Great Lakes Brewing Company beer. Admission is $75 Tickets may be purchased online or by calling 216.696.6525  x2520.

So grab your guys and girlfriends, get creative with those hats and let’s all meet up at what sounds to be a fun evening out for a great cause! Want a chance to win two tickets to the party? Tweet me “@iheartclev I’d love to attend the #kentuckyderby party in #CLE” winner to be chosen by April 26th…plenty of time to create a killer derby hat!
