A few weekends ago it was a rainy Saturday afternoon. My parents aka “Nanna and Pappa” were visiting and I had to come up with something for us to do indoors…enter the new Cleveland History Center.
What was once known as the individual museum collections of the Crawford Auto & Aviation Museum. Hale Farm & Village, the newly restored Euclid Beach Carousel and the Western Reserve Historical Museum is now slowly morphing into one larger, collaborative education destination called the Cleveland History Center.
From the original Indian baseball stadium signage, to a dress collection from the ladies of “Millionaire Row” (Euclid Ave!) to one vintage car masterpiece after another, this museum did not disappoint.
So next time you are looking for a destination to entertain all members of your family this museum has something for everyone you should really go and explore. I am really excited to watch and see how this new collaborative relationship of the individual museums merge and become a stronger destination for city visitors and local Clevelanders alike. Keep up the great job Cleveland, you always know how to make a gray, rainy Saturday so much better!
