Welcome to Harlow’s Pizza!
Hey CLE friends. How has your week been? The weather has been incredible and they say it’s supposed to be a gorgeous weekend. We have big plans to grab hibachi with some friends for a birthday celebration on Friday. On Saturday I’d love to swing by the opening of the new Océanne Boutique in Gordon Square, in the afternoon we plan to head over to the high school football game to watch the marching band..that plus a ton of raking…it’s gonna be a good one.
If there’s time, I also haven’t stopped thinking about the pizza that we recently discovered at the new, Harlow’s in Lakewood. I already really want to go back!
We stopped by Harlow’s on opening night to celebrate this chic, neighborhood restaurant. I actually used to live right down the street from this pizza destination..it’s probably a good thing I moved or I might have been there every night.
From what I remember, the physical building has changed hands a few times over the last twenty years but all I can remember it being; before it was a gorgeous, Cali-infused pizza shop was a small karate studio. Chop Chop! The exteriors once mustard are now a vibrant white with black trimmed, windows that open up to the street. The interiors of the space are beachy in hue but with a twist of hip & cool. I especially LOVE the tiled bar facade and the salmon-pink walls, they did SUCH a great job on the interior design.
Plus, the PIZZA is incredible!!! I’m craving it writing this post right now. Personal-Pan style, extra hot out of the oven. You could easily eat one yourself or order a few to share with friends or take home leftovers! I also enjoyed a glass of Rosé but they also have some unique cocktails including Horchata with tequila…I totally want to try it when I go back.
If you are looking for a weekend pizza destination, head over to Lakewood’s newest and for sure most beautiful spots, Harlow’s at 14319 Madison Ave, between 140 & 150th!
