Fall Picnic Style

Welcome to the refreshed, I Heart Cleveland site. I hope you enjoy this new format and come back often to see all the creative fun happening in our world. As summer draws to a close we are still trying to catch each warm day and head outdoors to eat, play, exercise and more. No one really knows what the winter will hold for us so for now let’s get outdoors and celebrate the joy of fall!

Virtual school ends early afternoon and so on the days that I don’t have our tutor, I try and think of fun ways that I can keep our little guy engaged and off the screens…we all love a good picnic! Part of the picnic itself is in the picnic-planning. Early that morning we baked a tiny picnic cake, we picked out the perfect picnic books, I had Max pick other snacks (marshmallows, bananas & oranges!) and I dragged out my favorite vintage throw.

This week, make time to squeeze in a picnic with your family and or friends. If it’s chilly, bundle up, bring a thermos of spiked cider and make a pot of warm soup to socially-distance share. Happy picnics everyone!
